Hello all! Welcome to the fifteenth edition of my Fan-Fiction-Tastic News!

We're getting into the cold winter months ... well, some of us are. I admit, as I hunker down under a blanket, hiding from below freezing temperatures, I'm a bit envious of those of you in the Southern Hemisphere. Regardless of whether you're cold or hot, I hope December finds all of you doing well!

I am accepting Daily Deviation suggestions for both Fan Fiction and Literature! As always, please feel free to contact me with anything you need, be it questions, concerns, or any other help I can provide (sorry, I don't have any spare piles of money laying around ;))! Please note me any time, reply here or leave a comment on my profile.

November Daily Deviations

Please keep sending those suggestions (both Fan Fiction and Literature). I love receiving them! (Yes, self-suggestions too!) With the numerous end of the year holidays approaching, I'd love some appropriately themed ones.

And my Literature Daily Deviations are listed here:

November Weekly Features

Every week, I feature a new fan fiction story on my profile page. Drop by and check them out!
Out Came the Sun (Marvel Cinematic Universe)Thunder rumbled overhead, shaking everything, and he wished for just a second he knew the cause.
He never thought he’d think it, of course, but if that storm brewing overheard were Thor, then at least he’d have time. Time to explain. Time to make his case. The God of Thunder was a hothead, but he was surprisingly reasonable when nothing made sense. Loki had banked on that, and while it hadn’t worked out for him, it might have if he’d meant well.
And Clint meant well. So he sat, feet up in front of him, bow and arrows lying across the table, waiting.
He could have listened for a clue. It was a waste of effort, though; he knew that. He could have looked out the windows, but no one would be stupid enough to approach from that angle. He probably could have passed the time doing something, anything… but what would that say? What would anyone who might look make of him sitting and using what might be his last moments?
So he waited, and waited, until he thought h

There was something about the dejected slump of First Aid’s shoulders that Pharma actually envied. There was just…such an air of innocence in the movement that Delphi’s head medic could no longer remember feeling. Pharma took a moment to admire the lost emotion before seamlessly falling into the role of comforting superior.
First Aid looked up from cleaning the clinical tools they had used for the surgery when Pharma gently placed a hand on his shoulder. Pharma offered the other medic a soft smile and gently squeezed. "We can't save them all First Aid."
First Aid sighed and wouldn't look Pharma in the optic. "I know, I know. It's just...I don't know. It was such a simple procedure and I—"

Poignant MemoriesAnother failure. Another chance lost at the coveted Power of the Elders. The disfigured form of the man once known as Keldor brooded stormily on his barren and dark throne for what seemed like an infinity of time. His physical wounds were of no consequence to him, but his wounded ego and pride were a different type of injury.
Just what was it that kept him from grasping the ultimate, omnipotent power? He had often blamed his blithering idiots for warriors for his failures. Their incompetence knew no bounds and it seemed as if they were attempting to outdo themselves as to how to further disappoint their irascible lord.
Was it a lack of coordination? Skeletor pondered on the days when he was Keldor. Their ragtag group of criminals had actually earned themselves a fearsome reputation, then. The days before He-man and the other Masters were strangely nostalgic.
The skull faced overlord's musings unintentionally brought up some unpleasant reminiscences.
He was reminded of the days when the

Most dreams are silent. I have traveled through thousands of young pony’s dreams, so I know this better than most. When a filly or colt with a quiet life and clean conscience slumbers, their dreams are as quiet as a drifting snowflake.
I was in a scary-house-of-hallways dream, however, and a scared filly’s frantic trotting and crying made this dream especially noisy.
         “Mooom! Daaad!”
I explored every hallway, looking for the troubled child.
         “Where are you?” I cried.

Last month, I asked, "Why did you join originally join DeviantArt? Have your DeviantArt goals/motivations changed over time?"

Here are your replies:
:icondecepticonflamewar:

I think I had an account when I was a kid to post art, but I never really got involved or cared about it. This account I made entirely to keep track of Pony pics that people were linking over on reddit that I liked. Now I'm no longer into ponies, I've gotten back into Fanfiction, and am somewhat active on the site. Go figure.

:iconjzlobo:

Funnily enough, I originally joined to promote/recruit for my old Transformers RPG site.

:iconcutecat213:

This one is hardly noble or anything, buuuut... It was because I just loved the art I saw and wanted to have the favorite button so I could gather all my favorite pieces together and just look at 'em. *looks* Pretty~

I DO post on here-- sometimes, but it's harder for a literary goal than my go-tos of FFn and AO3, so I STILL mostly use it for that wonderous fav button, but now I also have a group for my much-beloved UOTP for others who love it as well (and more gathering-together, yay!).

Here is my reply:
:iconsingingflames:

I originally joined to enjoy fantasy art (browsing and faving the ones I really liked). It wasn't until five or six years later that I began posting my writing here, which is my main interest now.

New discussion topic!

If you had the choice to become famous for one reason (no choosing not to become famous), what would you be famous for?

I'd want to become famous for --not just my writing itself-- but how it make others feel. I want to share the stories these phantom people whisper in my ear; their pains, their sorrows, their joys and accomplishments. I want to help tell the untold stories others haven't seen yet, and be known as the lens through which those stories are looked at. I put a little bit of me in everything I write, and nothing makes me happier than a review or comment of 'Me, too!', 'I know exactly how that feels!', 'This is me^'.

We're all part of each other: I want to be known for those parts I share that resound in the hearts of the ones who read them. So while I guess the part of it is "I want to be known for what I do." the other part is "This is me, and I want to be known for who I am." because they're two separate halves of the same whole. I'm a writer, this isn't what I do, it's who I am.
